2025 Big Island Press Club Scholarship

The Big Island Press Club announces the availability of scholarships for students pursuing higher education in journalism and related careers. The application deadline is March 14, 2025. To qualify applicants must: have Big Island residential ties, demonstrate an interest in journalism or related career, be enrolled as a full-time student and show a record of academic achievement.

Come To Our Next Event!

The Big Island Press Club hosts a variety of events throughout the year which provides access to interesting topics and impressive experts.  All of our events are open to the public, although Big Island Press Club members enjoy special discounts.

In addition to regular Newsmaker Luncheon events, we also host an annual Scholarship Awards Dinner each May and host a celebration of our Torch of Light Winner in December.
